Big thanks to POTL for the wonderful lunch to celebrate Mums birthday. The service was superb. We had a birthday card on the table when we arrived. Nice touch and really appreciated. The Octopus with Korean Chilli was delicious. The music was spot on. We will definitely go back...it’s that good. Our new favourite restaurant in Cornwall.
Incredible food and lovely service, genuinely one of the best meals I can remember having this year. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The crispy potatoes can't be missed and their homemade chilli sauce was so good I had to take a bottle home.
Our favourite restaurant of all time. Amazing food. In fact, the best seafood we have ever had. We have visited Padstow every year since 2016, and POTL is one of the reasons we keep returning. The staff are so friendly and always welcoming. Pick from the daily menu, or select a fish dish for the table with sides. This year I chose the whole Turbot. Check the photo. Absolutely superb. Well worth a visit!! We selected 5/6 dishes. The highlight was the Mackerel, closely followed by the Tuna. Although to be fair we didn’t have a bad dish out of all the ones we tried. Will definitely be back and also going to visit the one in Islington. Nice hand-wash in the toilet too.
Amazing little restaurant in Padstow. Our favourite food in the town by far. We ordered all of the small plates to share which were a good size for 4 people. There was also larger fish dishes available to share. The restaurant allows only 2 dogs at a time and the staff made us feel so welcome with the dog. Long story short, food was fantastic! Don’t miss it.
Cannot speak highly enough of POTL! We came in the summer and it was so good we came back in December for our engagement celebration meal. The food is only beaten by the staff who are brilliant. If you get the chance to visit this restaurant then do it, you won’t be disappointed!
Ahhh yes it was great. We had 3 small plates to share...the tuna, scallops and hake. Plus crushed spices potatoes. All were excellent and the service was quick. We got in without a wait, but I think that this is rare during tourist season.
They didn’t have a walk in table, Rob said there sister restaurant just up may accommodate. But then Rob said they had a table in 10. Atmosphere, Service and FOOD unbelievable. Highlights were lemon sole, peppercorn & tarragon. Salted Hake pakoras and Haddock. These guys know their Stuff. POTL is so good. Thank you Paul & Fiona.
